but yesterday after half a year waiting, one of my small ebay purchase arrived and I put it on my jacket I'm pretty happy with it, scale and color wise exactly matched.
dunno what happened to my zip puller and few other I bought at the same time... lost hope and almost forgot about them[huh]

Cool! I have a golden one I always wanted to put on my jacket, it's so light it would do well on a chain pull, but I'm afraid it might fall off.

I find the smell of a good Islay whisky irresistible.

It's funny - I was watching an episode of Modern Family just last night and Jay mentioned having a nice scotch, which he often does - and there he was with a nice large whisky glass and he twirled it slightly … and just the sight of it was irresistible to me! (I think that's the subliminal lure of advertising/product placement at work! Y'know - such as showing Pepsi/Coke ads during NFL and enticing viewers to nip upstairs and get one. It was working!)

this one has a snap / stud at the other end, of which I hammered the cross onto using my slipper as a buffer (since I don't have rubber hammer lol) much like rivet
I wouldn't try to hang a real precious metal like gold on my jacket man because it would be mysteriously missing in no time.

As my Aero ANJ-3 was unique to 1943, I wanted it to go on the jacket somewhere and it resides under one of the pocket flaps (for protection) so it isn't seen, but I know it's there.

And that's a nice 15th AAF/Capri disc, Rocketeer! It must be something like a Capri bell-type souvenir from a local bazaar/market. It's in great condition. Really unique and very nice. Perfect for a XV AAF-themed jacket!

I have a small collection of "Fumsup"and "Touchwud" lucky charms for my jackets. These tiny charms were hugely popular amongst World War I soldiers and worn during action. Given as presents to soldiers by their families and sweethearts before going to war. Not period correct for A2's but are very engaging lucky charms. The one on the jacket is the most well known version with moveable silver arms to touch the lucky wooden head. These are very collectable World War I lucky charms and there is a strong market on Ebay for them..

Great idea! Incorporating anniversaries into leather jackets seems like a good way to persuade my significant other to support this hobby of mine.
