Kind of puts this amazing building's age in perspective wouldn't you say?

That is really lovely. My mom always kept a greenhouse out back, and those pictures brought back a lot of memories.

Once upon a time, our neighbourhood was a golf course - and then, with the end of WWII and all the returning servicemen, it was sold and 1 1/2 storey houses built on it. Many of the natural ravines were filled in, but we got ours backing on to one of the remaining ones - and that brings a huge source of calm to our back yard as, as night, we can't even see any street lights and you feel like you're well out of the city. Now, if there was just something to be done with the yelling kids a couple of houses up that remind us that we're actually not ....!
