What is your most favorite jacket you own that you would immediately go out and buy again if you lost it (God forbid)?

My ultimate favorite has to be my new one from Superior Flight Apparel. Looks and feels good. Not sure I could get it again as it was a test jacket but I would buy from Mark again. Hope to see some more on here soon.

Easy. I love an excuse to show this one again. It is my horsehide Sears Hercules Halfbelt. Of course, finding another in this shape would be challenging.

I would buy another of these, but it just wouldn't be the same. I doubt I could find the replacement patches for my squadron and wing since it was deactivated in '95.

This is the most comfortable jacket I own.

Incidentally, we didn't win that competition in '84. We did win in '81, and again in '93, but I was out by then. The only five-time winner of the Blanchard trophy, Whiteman AFB 351st SMW! The best of the best.

My favorite jacket. That's a tough question. I guess it would be an MA-1 since I tend to wear those jackets more than any other kind. Granted, they are not as eye catching as some of my leather jackets, but they are warm and comfortable and have a certain 1950s, Cold War look that I really like. So, I guess this is my favorite MA-1. It is a near mint, 1961 Skyline with original Coats and Clark Crown zippers.

Vance and I have a lot in common. (sorry if I just offended you Vance)
But I love both of these the same.
Each has little things I like better than the other.

The MA-1 is a really cool jacket and you wear it well.

In reply to Windward's post:

Man those Windwards look absolutely fabulous (and fabulous on you). Now I want one. However it appears that you have a fairly broad, muscular, not overly tall build which the Windward must really work well on based on those pics. Do you think a Windward would suit a slim average height guy?

Hi Bonneville - yes I have fairly broad shoulders BUT I am not very tall with 5 ft 10" (178 cm)
My Windwards are size 46" with front lenght 22" to cover my belt completly!!!
back lenght 24" = 61 cm / shoulder 22" = 56 cm / pit to pit 27" = 68,5 cm / sleeves 26" = 66cm

My wife is my best adviser - she told me: How a jacket looks depends on how long your legs are - long legs allows you to wear long jackets -
if someone got short legs compared to the torso it will surely looks better with a short jacket because the legs seems to be longer - this is the trick!
And the man in the mirror think the same. . .

If I had smaller shoulders with an average slim frame it could be looking like this ....

Thanks God AERO make real custom jackets - hope it helps.
