3 passes, bbs. This was the first time I'd tried MWF and found that the scent was much better than I'd heard described, it lathered quite well, and it left my face feeling quite nice. It could quickly become a favourite soap.

I finally have something semi-worthy to show in here, after my camera decided to start working again:

Not much, but...yeah.

To the left is my blade-sharpener. $25 at the flea-market, works like a legend. I've been using the same blade (a vintage Gilette 'blue') for the past month thanks to this darling.

The bowl is a standard white ceramic bowl. Nice and deep. This was to mix my shaving cream in, but I don't have any of that proper stuff yet, so I use it just to hold hot water to clean my razor in when I shave.

The vintage Blue Gilette blades. A half-dozen of them (one is in the razor itself).

The razor's a rather standard gold-plated, three-piece razor that I bought at the Shaver Shop in Lonsdale street. Easy to use, easy to clean and really nice-looking, too.

This is my little shaving-box:

The little jar holds my shaving-cream. I had to wrap the pull-cord of the sharpener up in a very specific way so that it would fit neatly in there. I also had to disassemble my razor so that it would fit.

Pretty neat and compact, huh? The box even locks with a key, so that stops pesky people peeking into it.

I've been a little lazy in my honing lately, but I touched up the razor on my coticule then my Japanese water stone recently. I was duly rewarded for my efforts.

Today's shave was fast, warm, easy and...*rubs chin*...perfect!

I just noticed - Crabtree & Evelyn has brought back the Sienna line of shaving soap, cream, body wash and aftershave. They pulled it over a year ago, but I guess they got a lot of complaints. I know a lot of the shavers here on FL used the shaving soap...

Where do you all pick up Proraso products from? They used to be sold at Super Target, but not anymore. Since I haven't found Proraso, I use Bigelow and Co. which is made by Proraso (so maybe it's the same ingredient?). In any case, where can I get Proraso in the mid-west?

Bummed that I was in such a hurry that I only had time for 2 passes. I had enough lather to do 11. Great luxurious lather with a toned down Williams scent due to the AOS. Good shave. Has me pondering a touch up tonight.
