Wow, there's an incredible amount of talent here. Here are a few pieces I've done. Nothing very recent but I hope to resume my painting soon.

Here's one of my watercolors from almost 25 years ago, recently scanned from a 35mm slide of the original. It's of a Parker Carousel Horse circa 1920. The original piece was featured (and sold) in my first one-man gallery show in the early '90s.

(Hope it's okay to share my daughter's art, rather than my own.)
Out of boredom, my 16yo daughter began drawing with her no. 2 pencils about six months ago. She's never had any art instruction other than the typical early-elementary school wearing-your-daddy's-shirt type of classes. Recently, I picked up a set of artist's colored pencils from a local thrift store and Emma got to work re-creating her favorite characters from the Disney movie "Frozen".

I had Emma take in some of her drawings to the high school art teacher, who has enrolled her in an advanced class for fall and talked about Emma putting together a portfolio for an Advanced Placement course. The teacher asked Emma, "Do you use the grid system?" Emma replied, "What's that?" lol

Proud mama, here!

Natural talent obviously...great work for any age but for a 16 yr old with no training it's astounding, how's she on drawing from life?

Thank you!
Emma has not yet attempted to draw from life. I'm sure that will be much more challenging and likely to be covered in her art class where she'll have some knowledgeable guidance.
