does this fit like a 38 HWY? A pattern that fits closer to 42?

Yeah, the Bootlegger and the HWM both have roughly 24“ ptp in a size 40 and roughly 23“ ptp in a size 38. However the Bootlegger has a stronger taper down to the waist.

Nicer in person than in photos, and fits like a second skin. I think I found my forever bootlegger. I can't believe this was up for sale for over a year, and at the price offered. @jacketjunkie was great with communications, including post-sale, when the tracking didn't update for 12 days.
