The site has been up for awhile. A lot of sizes are out of stock. Not sure how long this experiment is going to last. When I asked about restocking, I was told there wouldn't be any -- at least for the models I inquired about.

Some nice looking things, though I'd definitely want a proper gander over them first at that sort of price. I like the waxed cotton Perfecto.

I do like the looks of a couple of them...but that kind of price for standard sized jackets (no custom sizing)...come on!

Last year they had the Carney (the two tone horsehide) at Barneys. So when it enviably went on sale I saw a few of them going out the door for less then $400. That's still real money but for a rocking cool horsehide jacket? Good deal. Wish they had been in my size!

What I like about the Perfecto sub-brand is that they've a tendency to be made with some idea of fit. I've never found a Schott that didn't make me look two times my size before trying on a Perfecto. $800+ is a bit on the high side but they're jackets that should last forever, made in america, and look good....

Those are Lost Worlds prices... No way I would pay $1000 for a Schott jacket and I've owned two, one is my everyday rider.
