I thought I'd formally introduce my Schobel here.

It's an Amazing hat, super soft felt, and it's pretty light weight at 130 grams.
Crown is 5" creased, Brim is 2 1/2" with a full 1/2" trim on it, ribbon is 1 3/4" (with wind trolley) and the sweat is in good shape, very soft, it's 1 7/8". Here's a few pics.....

I'd love to know how old it is....can someone perhaps date it for me? [huh]

Beautiful Hat Bolt! Maybe Johnnyphi can date it. [huh]

I'd be afraid to wear that one. I'd get it dirty.

Very sharp, Bolt. I don't have a clue about its age, but I love that binding and the color.

Hey Bolt, just for the heck of it, what color would you call that hat. I have to say that is one of the better looking hats I have seen you post.:eusa_clap

Well, I looked under the sweat for a color, and came up blank. All it had was the manufacturer and a size. If I had to guess, it's a very light gray, with a bluish tint to it. [huh]
Thanks for the nice feedback on it fellas, I wish I could date it though? :eusa_doh:

I'm Guessing Mid- to Late-1940s

Whoa Nelly! That's one helluva Schoble!

Based on my experience with Schobles, I'm guessing that this hat is mid-to late-1940's.

The logo looks very simlar to this hat, but there is some script below the two lions, and it's different from anything I have seen before. What does it say?
