Anyone who has seen Fred MacMurray trying to pull off calling Babs Stanwyck "baby" can probably handle a little stiffness lol

Oh, I disagree. I think MacMurray's really good in his 1930s and '40s movies.

He and Stanwyck (one of my very favorite actresses) were obviously considered a pretty strong pairing, as they made four movies together. They were great together in my favorite Christmas movie, REMEMBER THE NIGHT (1940), and I also enjoyed them in Douglas Sirk's THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW (1956).

I've never seen their fourth movie, a western called THE MOONLIGHT (1953).
