Young Ideas (1943) with Susan Peters, Herbert Marshall, Mary Astor and Elliott Reid. Slow beginning, but actually a lot of fun.

Keep Your Powder Dry (1945) with Lana Turner, Laraine Day and Susan Peters. Interesting movie about three WACs in WWII... get some tissues for the end.

The Bad Sister (1931) with Conrad Nagel, Sidney Fox, Bette Davis and Humphrey Bogart. Cute movie, but mostly interesting to see Bogart so young!

I'm sorry, Rue, but I must put my foot down. TROUBLE IN PARADISE is an all-time classic and readily available on DVD. If our fellow loungers can't catch it in a theatre (I've seen it probably nine or ten times here in NYC), at the very least they must rent the Criterion DVD. YouTube simply won't do for a movie this great that's so readily available.

Oh and maybe it's easy to catch in a theatre in NYC, but in the rest of the country not so much. Also.... I don't have a DVD player, so......

I have an idea. Rather than barging in here to disparage the free delivery method (YT) of these films, why not start your own thread using your favored commercial delivery methods.

Love Me Tonight (1932) with Maurice Chevalier, Jeanette MacDonald and a little bit of Myrna Loy. If you don't like musicals you probably won't like this, but I thought it was really cute.
