RMJ (Real McCoy Japan) Dubow A-2 arrived.

Just got this baby through and it looks like the real dea! Beautiful patina horse hide. Thick, but not too heavy. Pre-war Talon zip and a great Dubow label (just like the real thing guys!) and the distinctive pointy collar. Size 40 and fits me a treat.
This is my first taste of Real McCoys for the Japanese market, and I must say, I'm very impressed indeed! Just a shame it's like getting hen's teeth trying to get one of these jackets.
Will get some more detailed pics when I have a minute.

What a fantastic jacket Paddy, nice one ! I am toying with a RM as it is the next one on my list but daren't get one as the size might not fit ! I already have a Buzz Rickson pre war Werber in a size 40 that when on is fine with just a T shirt but driving or reaching up for things is a bit tight round the back of the armpits. I have picked up two ELC's in 42 and they seem massive ! Would love to see more pics ! Cheers !!

You crack me up sometimes BT, I LOVE this picture!! I can remember my first Action Man in the 60's (thought it was great, the scar and the painted on hair!!).

Hey Paddy,

hadn't seen this thread before, but found it through a link in a recent message. The jacket looks just beautiful and the fit looks very original. Congratulations.
I have read so much already about RMNZ, that I would be tempted to get a jacket from them, but distance and related troubles put me of.
I think the only way to get a perfectly fitting jacket from them is go and spend my holiday in NZlol . Wish I could!!
