I just picked up these two RRL shirts from a seller on ebay. The fit is great and the price wasn't bad at all. I particularly like the detailing on the striped one. The tops of the pockets have a slight curve to them.

Can anyone recommend a Wabash stripe shirt? I've been on the hunt for a nice one.

Of course K&TH has made some fantastic ones but as I have larger than a 42" chest, virtually all of his offerings are unavailable. I swear I dread seeing his newsletter pop up....it's just a cruel reminder I will never be able to wear any of his stuff....and I'm a skinny guy! I've been to Japan several times....there are plenty of Japanese walking around who are bigger than me....why the Japanese companies don't make larger sizes boggles my mind.....I'm on a rant again. (Breathe...breathe)

I hear you on the size thing. Just think how much money you are saving.:) I would love to see the break down on sales of these companies to see what sizes actually sell. I haven't seen anything in a Wabash stripe in a large or extra large size. As most of the Walbash fabric is made in Japan these day's.
Wish I could source the material.

Sugar Canes last Worksuit. I got the pants today. The cut is the same as the pre WWII levis 501. Greatly , my nicest Workwear Trousers !!!! I wish vest and jacket too, but size 42 is always sold out.....
Why have Japanese desinger no big sizes? Quite simply, Work Clothing do not look "cool" in large sizes.

GIJoe that's a beauty!!
As far as Wabash stripe shirts go, Levi's has released 2 versions under their regular label that were affordable. This was a couple of seasons ago but chances are they will do it again.

Crazy price for a cloth jacket. What is always so funny is this style in the day was simple work wear like a read hat uniform jacket I wear everyday at work. You see Carhartt jackets and pants sold outside the US at high prices.
While here in the US the are used as basic workwear you buy at Walmart. Ah the price one pays to be hip.

Yes, maybe it's crazy. Yet this is the best and most innovative jacket in any current collection imo. [huh]
I must say I am fairly disappointed with the new Mister Freedom stuff. Too early timeframe and too much crumpled jackets are just unexciting to me. What what am I complaining? I can't afford them anyway.;)

The cheap workwear ist still avaivable and the "fashion" mall store versions as well. I just picked up a green chambray shirt at the german store C&A who are usually rather conservative and.. boring.
But I guess every brand that produces for the mainstream market has it's style scouts who just do that: search blogs for sucessful design and make cheap copies.

So we should be grateful for the expensive stuff from japan :p
