Maybe the sizing is not that much off. The vest in L worn with a khaki twill shirt still has some room. Earlier today I wore it with a RL corduroy pullover work shirt and it was good.
BTW first pic of the brown dyed swedish work pants. The dye is not perfectly even (some dark streaks and a little ligther /greener on the thick seams) but I didn't see it in natural light yet. Close up pictures coming soon in the other thread.
What chest size are you FFF? I am a 42" and was going to order one of each in the L 40-42", Mr Badger is ordering one in a L I believe but I'd like to get them ordered before they run out....I intend to wear it over a denim or oxford shirt itself worn over an undershirt/long sleeve T shirt.

Ok I ordered one each of these 3 days ago, they arrived this morning...a perfect fit....I have to be honest and say I was quite impressed especially at £15 each, these are gonna get some wear this winter...they even come with a spare button each!

The trousers get a nice brown without any green undertone. The parts of the material that get a bit washed out at the prewash are a bit darker than the rest now. I think that´s ok because it looks just a bit worn not like a defect. I´m happy that the thread was cotton and became brown too and even the buttons are kind of brown now.

So mission succeed.

Then I best order a pair of those too! my Swiss work/prison/military trousers are currently undergoing a transorfmation into a pair of 30's style baggy cycling/golf plus fours/sixes...I have removed the deep front pockets and will take off the side rule? pocket before shortening them and add in two fron pocket linings and making good the leg ends with a strap or strings? not sure which yet then dyeing them brown or olive?

Well the two tone effect is not as noticable as you might think. I consider them green/olive anyway. I dyed em brown to get a very different pair. Just like madame said the color ist not 100% even but in natural light it looks good imo.

Here is a slightly lighter picture to show the differences. Because of the thick cotton the color is lighter on the inside. Don't turn it on the wrong side before dyeing. Next to the trousers you can see my belgian work jacket. It has a belted back, two breats pockets and is deadstock.

Hey Esteban, thanks for the PM – I messaged you back, could you possibly measure the L size wool vest pit-to-pit and lemme know... just got notification that ASOS have received the XXLs back and are due to dispatch the replacement L size ones, but wanted a heads-up as to their actual measurement – by my reckoning, as they're marked 40-42, they actually should be around 45-46" chest, based upon the XXL getting listed as 46 but really being 50" when I whipped the tape measure out! Cheers chap! :D

There was a newbie post about great deals on LVC that got deleted, which was thought to be spam. It actually was not. It was the link to one of those "invite only" designer close-out sites.
I saw the same fellow posting the link on another forum and the subsequent posters were raving about it so I went for it. I must say, they did have the cheapest prices on LVC that I've ever seen. Past season's stuff obviously but so what?
I'll repost the link now as my invite to you guys. It seems they don't ship to Europe so my apologies to most of my fellow workwear friends.
The LVC event ends on Monday.

Oops. I was the finger pointer in this case. Sorry. It certainly looked like spam. Post pictures when your LVC stuff arrives ;-)

I can't give any sizing advice. Tha pants have wide legs so the fit me better than slim fit H&M stuff. For any other info please ask the seller. JHere is an idea: Don't just shorten them but get some cuffs made of the excess fabric.

Great Dinerman! I got a pair of the 1920's chinos in "laurel wreath" green. I have other pairs of those and they are pretty awesome. And I got 2 belts. There were no jeans in my size by the time I joined.
During checkout it said my savings was $466!!
I hope they have LVC again, or fingers crossed, RRL soon.

Seabass, the chinos are not tight at all. Baggy with a high rise and brace buttons. Very cool!
