Ok, here is the story behind the name "Remembrance" I contacted Art about getting a hat made using a pin I had. The pin is a LARGE NYPD shield with a flag and 9/11 on the shield, I also wanted the hat to be like the hats worn in the old detective movies. It is definitely not a hat pin but Art can work magic so we will see! So I discussed with Art about a tribute hat to the fallen from the twin towers and learned of Art's own involvement and loss from that day which I will leave for him to tell if he wants to. The only name I could think of was the 9/11 when Art suggested "REMEMBRANCE" so thats what we went with! We discussed trying to make a twin towers type bow treatment and such, so anyway now you see why I am going crazy to see this hat!!

See, when I get an amazing gift for someone I want to give it to them right away! And since I always give more than one gift, the not-quite-as-amazing gift goes under the tree so there is still that Christmas morning glee to experience.

The Guilt of the Hat Liberator

Christmas is coming,
The goose is getting fat,
Indy is grousing,
Will I ever see my hat?

Deelovely's in the kitchen,
Thinking of that goose,
Listening to his b----ing,
Searching for a noose.

Colby Jack's uncertain,
If deelovely's run amuck,
He's peering through the curtain,
Praying he's in luck.

A truck pulls in the driveway,
His hands begin to shake,
Could this be his final day?
Will there be a wake?

Footsteps cross the porch,
There's rapping at the door,
Nervously he grips his torch,
(Flashlight, not flame of yore).

He watches as the knob turns,
His knees begin to shake,
His heart within him burns,
His brain begins to bake.

The door swings wide,
He stares with dread,
He couldn't move if he tried,
Surely he is dead.

Around the door,
There looms a box.
He's anchored to the floor,
Shaking in his socks.

Now, to the business at hand.

I would like to know what Indycop intends to do about this problem with the Trolls. It seems to be getting worse.

First we learned that Troll the ancient Yule tied Carole. Why or to what we have no idea. But...this tying of young (I suppose) Carole is unacceptable, reprehensible, beyond the pale, going too far, and probably illegal.

Next we hear that Troll the Yule tied Gaye. Surely this is a HUGE RED FLAG. We have a second Troll (or is that YULE) tying up yet another damsel. Again we have no clue why or to what.

Hasn't this gone far enough?

AND...are these guys into Bondage or something worse?

I say it's high time for Indycop to stop worrying about his chapeau and start worrying about these Troll (or is it Yule) fellows. He needs to be concerned about his womenfolk!
