QUICKIE-MALROV 6-7/8 Gray w/detailed Ribbon

2-1/4" bound edge brim, crown is 4-3/8 at center pinch. The felt is quite nice. Unfortunately IT HAS A SIZE LABEL READING 6-7/8 under the sweat, rather than "Nice, clean vintage Malrov fur felt hat. Size 7 1/4, used." as stated.
21-7/8" Circumference or 7-1/2 x 6-3/8. Best prompt reasonable offers I paid almost $60.00 (I may be able to get a partial refund).

I've been admiring that ribbon treatment for several days.

Do you know if it rings true to a 6 7/8, or is it loose for a 6 7/8? Any idea of the circumference?

On the borderline between the two, the oval dimensions might be a better indicator for a particular cranium. The original label was 6-7/8. Some size 7 heads would be fine. Different brands as well as the hat's history lead to variations.
