Question regarding new waxy cowhide... is this normal?

Hello,

I am fortunate to have just received a brand new Schott 508 Express today. I understand that with waxy cowhide, you expect certain characteristics unique for this type of leather.
However, as soon as I removed the jacket from the box and plastic that it was shipped in, I noticed a dark dot on my jacket. It's about the size of a pencil eraser. Is this normal? Will this dot possibly fade over time?

Dots like this on pull up oily leather is normal, possibly a drop of dye or concentration of oil, just my theory.

I have similar marks on an Aero oil pull horsehide jacket, like scribbles, it hasn’t faded with time but is less noticeable as the rest of the jacket ages.

Normal. Just natural properties of leather.

I had the same bits on my battered tan Aero- it's just an occurrence in the hide, or some dye or part of the tanning process. With time, it'll fade, but it isn't a defect.

Had them on a Vicenza A-2 too. They looked cool.
