On the big auction site a vendor has been auctioning B3 sheepskin flight jackets. These are not precise reproductions, but that doesn't put me off. In one of his graphics, finally, was a manufacturer's label - Calafate Aviation. I searched this forum and identified one thread that described this company as being in Argentina. Nothing about quality of fit, materials, and manufacture of their B3s.
Since used jackets are being sent from Japan or South Korea, I anticipate good quality. Shlock jackets don't sell there. . . . If the jackets being resold are from these countries rather than being collected for transshipment there.
