Blue grey Pre-Stetson Mallory IV in excellent condition. 2 3/4" brim with thin grosgrain bound edge, 4 3/4" crown as shown (5 3/4" open) with thin grosgrin ribbon, unreeded leather sweatband which is soft and pliable showing little if any wear. Rare and unique color. Open crown holds pinch well and any type of crease. $375.00 plus shipping.

Hello. Have to say this is so very nice. The color of this one here, is there a hint of blue in the gray? For the size of this hat, even as I am sure the tag on it says 7 3/8, is it maybe a tad more? LOL! I ask as if was a larger size, I would have to say I want to buy this one here for my Husband, Daniel. But he is more on the 7 1/2 size for his hats. I just picked up a hat from eBay for him, it is tagged a 7 3/8 and I am sure it is on the "bigger" size.

Perhaps you would know if this hat fits you how it seems to be size wise? Big..or just right on the 7 3/8 size.

I have my own fedora that looks so much like this hat, the felt is very light weight and in the open road type, same color and perhaps a bit older than this one. Daniel always stated he wished he could find a larger hat like mine to wear.

Hi Cindy, I measured the circumference at approx. 23 4/16". The hat size chart I use indicates a size 7 3/8 has a circumference of 23.0531. A size 7 1/2 is listed as having a circumference of 23.4458. The hat opening measures approx. 8" front to back and 6 11/16 side to side. There is a hint of blue in the hat.
