You spoil us with these, but please do! Wonderful.C.1930s/1940s Stetson Standard Quality Crush Weight Tailored Edge.
Has a very early onion skin feature behind the sweatband.
Hat is ridiculously light, feels like I'm not holding anything

Glad you let it slip into my hands, Josh!! I noticed that too, and thought it was decently funny. We are all human after all! When it came i was surprised to see no issues at all. perfectDid anyone else catch the 7 1/8 size sticker on the sweatband but the 7 1/4 reorder tag? Pretty interesting....
Good find Justin. I had my eye on that one but totally forgot about the auction. Glad you picked it up!
That is just a shame. Such a cool old derby too. Is it savable?John B Stetson & Co. stiff felt derby. Green / brown in color.
This fella was the unfortunate victim of terrible shipping practices...
Maybe someone could set me straight on dating this. 1900s? I don't recall seeing examples of the tag before. Also the use of "John B Stetson & Co." is interesting.

Ouch! Looks savable if there aren't any rips. Looks very old. Im no expert but I'd guess 1890s or 1900s. Definitely has a wild west vibe.John B Stetson & Co. stiff felt derby. Green / brown in color.
