WHEN WILL THE MODERATORS IMPROVE THE POST A PIC FEATURE ON THIS GREAT BOARD?

Something like ebay would be great. You take a pic and you post. Hell even I can do that. LOL

CCJ, the vbulletin software that the forum uses does have the capability to host images, but the owners have disabled it. I assume to save bandwidth, although with cheap unlimited hosting plans that isn't so important these days.

All you need to do though is put your photos into any one of the many photo hosting sites (I use SmugMug) and link to them - only takes a second or two to do.

Personally, I prefer to have my photos on my own host than uploading to every site I post on - much easier to control.

It is a a money issue I am sure. eBay makes a lot of money
On all those auctions. An eBay only hosts the images for the length of the auction. The amount of hard drive space that all the images on this forum links to would be rather large an would be quite an expense. I do wish that some of the great images from older threads where still there for everyone to enjoy. I save all my favorite images posted here
So I can use them for reference because I have seen people delete an image of a hat that had a detail that I loved
and I want to enjoy it and have a hat with that detail.

What I would love to see is the use of a mobile app
for accessing the forum. As a web developer I know how to post images and videos without the use of the desktop version of the site. But the average user here does not.
It would be nice for others to be able to use a mobile app like Tap To Talk to access the site on their phone or tablet.
