Every time you post this jacket I walk to my closet and look at mine. Incredible jackets.
Here are photos of my early 50s Grais. The leather of this D-pocket is bulletproof thick.
Love the lightplay on that rich black color. I wear it for cold weather riding on my Indians.

No label at all. It is relined. But there is the D-pocket on the left side. No additional pocket as on the HD. Buco style.
Thanks, that sure is the jacket. I had never seen one like this by Grais. So much like the HD Cycle Champ makes me think they made those jackets for HD, some one did. That Not Pocket D pocket stands out. The spots too, though different sizes in the same places.
This one is particularly nice looking. Hard jacket to not notice.
Ive been hunting for a jacket with the no-pocket D pocket for years. Can never find one in my size or the asking price is too much for me. Definitely a style that is hard to miss and harder to not appreciate.
I was thinking of you. Have you ever seen a Grais like this? Pretty darn cool!
I’ve seen a few online. When for sale they normally are way too small for me.
Ok, you have seen this in the Wild. I know the too small story. I just got this Sportclad. Another one just showed up on ebay! I think it is the same size as this one.

I think my Sportclad is the only one I’ve seen with a 24” P2P. Always just a tad small for me too. It also has the blackened brass hardware and the button throat latch. I love these jackets. If I find one in the condition of your first one I would probably buy another one.
