I’m toying with the idea of getting this, but three things put me off:

- my girlfriend would probably file for divorce even though we’re not married
- price (how much for a full leather coat, anyone knows?)
- lack of confidence in pulling it off

Does anyone here have this or a similar one?

As a Swede I may have a bit of a bias, but I really really like the style of this one!

Sadly I have never owned one(or something like it, but I'm always on the lookout for some steals) so can't really help you there mate, but the style is really badass.

This leather started off really creaky, but much quieter 6 months later.

It’s a great coat. If you like it, you can wear it. After all, it’s all about feeling comfortable or happy in what you’re wearing.

I ordered a Cossack directly from Thedi, paid around Oct 20 and mentioned that I'd like the jacket to be black but asked for his recommendation of leather type/lining.

He has not suggested anything yet but in the meanwhile I've seen some pictures and thought the jacket would look better in something like "cognac buffalo".

Do you think it'd be too late in the process to ask for this switch? He mentioned 50-60 days to build the jacket and it's somewhat close to this deadline.

I'd say he hasn't started yet, so you're not to late. My modified Cossack took 5 months and his 50-60 days estimate is quite optimistic.

Just wanted to proudly showcase my new Thedi jacket. The type is MTC-10075 in heavy beewaxed horsehide ("waxy horsehide camel"). Super soft leather. I ordered it withe two fur collars - curious to find out which one sees more use.

The acting model is of course nowhere as cool as on the Thedi website
