I hope this is the thread.Love the Wards HBRobbie I started a thread couple of years back about preferences vintage and pre-owned jackets versus new jackets. The majority of responders favored new.
I tend to reach for my vintages jackets more often than the newer era jackets. The only jacket in my collection I purchased new is one of the Johnson customs I had made to order for a picture. I considered my GW was purchased new, but it was a test jacket John Chapman wore before placing on the Vintage Jacket forum classifies.
