Nice. If I didn't already have a couple of brown Mallory homburgs I might try to talk you out of that one.
Catalena Hatters take on the Open Road style hat. 2 ¾” wide brim and 5 ¾” open crown. Great moldable felt, but there is quite a bit of soiling and a weak spot at the point of the crown at the crease/pinches.

That felt looks just wonderfulVictor Custom Hatters of Dallas. Fantastic felt! It’s very thin and a cross between vintage 3X and Royal DeLuxe felt…leaning more to Royal DeLuxe. The bound brim is 3” wide and the open crown is 5 ⅝” tall. It’s an eggshell white…not quite sugar, but close. Fantastic hat that is easily shaped dry.

If my hat budget wasn't already in the red, I'd be enquiring as to your plans for this one!1930s or older Mallory (more in the Mallory Mile thread):

Yes it is, but i never heard of
You're on a roll with all these great "new" hats, Brent. Great finds one and all.Victor Custom Hatters of Dallas. Fantastic felt! I'm afraid not. Just as puzzled as you are. Nice hat though. No it's a new one on me. A Benelux made Brummel's created for an English sounding company sold in a gentleman's clothes store in the Netherlands is a bit of a Chinese box mystery.
Maybe Stefan can shed some light.
Quite the haul this week, Brent. It's like a beauty contest with one pretty hat after another.Catalena Hatters take on the Open Road style hat. 2 ¾” wide brim and 5 ¾” open crown. Except that if I’d stuck to the budget, I wouldn’t be in the red already! It’s a sign of maturity and self control to have a budget and then stick to that budget. Or that’s what they tell me because I just keep spending.
Thanks, Phil!
Thanks, Phil!
Oh, I'm gonna rub it in. I just haven't had time with a house full of people and now it's late. Thanks, Phil!
You’re a good guy for not rubbin it in too bad on the Bama/Georgia game.
That's a gorgeous homburg, Brent. Wonderful shape and colour.A midnight blue homburg that picked up a Champ liner at some point.
