Fourth, an Optimo that was so big (62.75) and had such a narrow brim the seller had trouble selling it, so I got it cheap. I gained about half an inch (1/8 inch for each size).
It is really soft, no stiffener I can feel, which is unusual for an Optimo. Yellow liner, so has to be 100 beaver, at least.
A "before" pic at the end.

The true color and the wider brim make all the difference. Looks great, Max.

An excellent array of hats, Max. I don't know that the rest of us can compete! 'm glad you like the Limpia Creej hat.

I just picked up a batch of finished hats from Ignacio. Cleaning, resizing, conforming, etc.
First hat an excellent Alley Kat. Big and heavy FEPSA beaver. Big enough for Joao View attachment 539447 View attachment 539448 View attachment 539449 View attachment 539450 View attachment 539451

Second hat, Royal Stetson with a wonderful color and a ribbon like I'd never seen before. Really soft, and in my size! OPS tag View attachment 539453 View attachment 539455 View attachment 539456 View attachment 539457 View attachment 539458 View attachment 539460 View attachment 539452

Now that's a hat befitting a Mexican, Max! I would like to add something like that to my collection, just for the heck of it. Not exactly a grab and go hat, but a headturner for sure.

Another beautiful looking hat, Max. Still have to decide for myself if I like the ribbon or if it's a bit too much for my taste.

While we're in Max's territory, here's one that will grace his shelves in the near future.
P&C Habig Special Zefiro made for Willoughby of Paris. Size 60 with the raw edge brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. Nice thin felt with a bit of heathering going on. Intended for spring or summer wear it seems as it has both the Ventilo treatment and two ventilation patterns on the side. The hat is really lightweight too, at only 92 grams. This thin ribbon style is uncommon for European hats.

Another newcomer. One we don't see that often here.
Herbert Johnson fedora in a nice dark brown called "oct brown" on the label. Size 57 with the raw edge brim at 6cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. Very lightweight hat at only 72 grams. Having a ribbon sweatband helps of course. Odd thing is that the ribbon sweatband is still reeded. I wonder if this one is supposed to be a roll-up hat.
Sorry about the uneven side pinch (how did I not see that?).

A very nice set of unlined hats, Stefan. The P&C looks like a particularly upscale model.
