Thoroughbred (Beaver Brand) One Hundred Percent Pure Beaver Fur (I've seen this as a 20X, but I don't find that marked on this hat). A dark gray-green that has faded some where it probably was hanging on a wall in the sun -- you can see a shadow of the ribbon strings.

I bought this one ☝️ and I absolutely love it. The quality is so good. I cleaned and reshaped it and its quality is so smooth it looks like a wet-suit. My favorite hat right now.

Stetson 3X Beaver Quality
Approx 4 7/8 crown as shaped
3/8 Tri-Cord Ribbon
3 inch brim with bound edge
Embroidered Last Drop liner with oil skin tip protector

I did not notice in the seller’s photos, but turns out this Stetson 3X Beaver Was creased with its pinch to the rear. Being that the crease was fairly sharp and seemed to be there for some time… I decided to go with it… but add my own front pinch to create my take on a 4 corners pinch…. Maybe a reverse 4 corner. The color I’d say is slightly darker than most of my Silverbelly hats. But it really does shift depending on light. From a tan.. to off white yellowish… to almost bone. I believe early to mid 50s on this one with the embroidered last drop liner oil skin tip and reorder tag.

Thanks go out to @BobHufford for the heads up on this one.

I bought this hat as it is for a winter project. Unfortunately, the brim is 3” and not the 3 1/2” the seller stated. It’s a great dark green felt of unknown quality. The seller never saw the hat with the Sweatband.

Here’s my conundrum: I told the seller the hat wasn’t as he had represented it and he refunded me and told me to keep the hat. I would feel bad selling it for a profit. If someone wants it for their own project I’d be glad to pass it on for the cost of shipping (less than $20 contiguous US). Did someone already buy this from you? It’s my size and I could get liner and sweat put in.

TownCraft by JC Penney. Came in a Marathon box, which I was happy to get (seller specified it would be "without box"). Said box was home to the hat since 1977 when it's original owner went over the hill; hat is clean (a minimum of dust), without moth divots; sweat is pliable; a bit of a crease on the rear left that will need some steaming, as will the whole crown to get the pinch I want. Very soft felt, not too thin, but not thick, either. 2" brim with grosgrain ribbon trim. Advertised (I even made a dm inquiry) as "deep brown" it is more olive/green than I anticipated. Still, a worthy addition to my small collection. Factory label says it was ten bucks.

Carl Blum extra velour in black. Size 56 with the raw edge brim at 6cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. Thick and heavy velour with a great hand to it and shapes with ease. An oddity is that the nap of the velour on the crown is brushed clockwise. Made for the Italian market as the label is in part in Italian. The label gives 9/30 under the "data", which means it's from 1930 I suppose. There was a hatter called Anton Blum in Salzburg, Austria. Carl could well be related.

The other lottery hat, also a winner. This one was advertised as a size 55, but there was no size label shown. Seller had another hat on sale, which was a size 56. Looked like they were from the same owner, so worth taking a shot at. And indeed this proved to be the case.
GA Dunn&Co Ltd velour hat in brown. Size 56 with the raw edge brim at 6 and the crown at 10 cm at the center dent. A more short haired velour in a nice rich brown colour. Lovely hand to the felt and it shapes easily. No labels under the sweat, so no idea who the manufacturer was. Weighs 126 grams.

Alois Pichler Wien, measures 58 cm, 143 grams possibly early 1930s. I think it's Fur Felt but might have a small Wool content. I couldn't find a paper label and nothing points to a specific hat company. I am not aware of A.P.W. having a production facility so probably sourced. There is a wide fabric Band behind the main Band that I assume was a later add on that is permanently applied. I am not sure what it is for so I am checking with the seller to see if they have any information. The black Liner with gold A.P.W. mark really stands out.

Alois Pichler Wien waxed Paper Bag "Pichler Hüte Sind Weltbekannt / Pichler Hats Are World Famous" that this Stiff Felt was wrapped so probably original.

Mallory Coast to Coast - Dark Grey Brown
4 3/4 - 3 7/8 rakish crown
1 5/8 pewter grosgrain ribbon
2 3/8 brim with 3/8 bound edge

Thanks go out to @DaveProc for the tip on this Mallory Coast to Coast and a fairly dark grey brown felt. Having seen Jim’s @Frunobulax C2C I knew I wouldn’t go wrong with this buy. This I believe would be later 50s considering the card stock size tag and slightly shorter brim at 2 3/8. The dark taupe felt is offset ever so slightly with a pewter grosgrain ribbon and brim binding. The crown still sports what appears to be its factory tear drop and rakish crease. Mallory are among my favorites and I do have a few with similar (Whippet-ish) styling but none with the C2C designation or this coloring so this will fit in nicely.
