Not an every day brand so worth taking a shot at. Penn-Craft bowler in a size 57 or 58. Size tag says 1/8 but given the measurements I believe it was adapted for the European market. so likely an English size 7 1/8. Brim at a good 5cm and the crown about 12cm high. Aside from some foxing on the liner in excellent condition.

I’m so glad this beauty finally arrived. Giving me hope for one I’m waiting for! Interesting sweat... I wonder if this was made by Mac Lachlan. Wonderful hat Dave!

Thanks Joe! You may be right. The sweat sure does look like a Maclachlan. I will get some better pics. The reorder tag looks like one I have seen on at least one Maclachlan and the font used in "100% Fur Felt " looks similar to the one used in Air-Vac

Well, here I come all proud of myself for finding this yesterday at a Columbus vintage store, only to find out I showed up at the party wearing the same dress as Stefan. :(

Looking good. Someone must have dumped a lot of Peen Crafts on the market.

That’s a different look for you, but I’m a big believer in diversity.

But what a dress it is! These vintage hats seem to travel to the market in packs (or flocks?). That wasn't the only thing we brought to the party that's the same, Jim. I got me one of these yesterday:

The hat nozzle arrived today. Works like a charm.

Catalena Hatters. 6 1/2” open crown and 4” raw edge brim. Very firm felt, and some cheesy ribbon and bow work, but the felt is finely pounced and very smooth.

Wow! That's a great hat Brent! I don't think I could get away with a hat that big here in Puritan New England.

Ribbon and bow should be an easy fix. I like it open crown actually; seems to suit it.
