My new hat.

This is my ?¢‚Ǩ?ìHavana?¢‚Ǩ? styled Montecristi from Optimo Hats. I got it as part of their annual ?¢‚Ǩ?ìFino Club?¢‚Ǩ? Montecristi acquisitions. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s the finest Montecristi hat that I own and I got it at a great price (especially considering how fine the detailing is). Enjoy

I didn’t get a new hat but it sure seems like I did! I haven’t been able to wear these beauties in a long time, but now they fit like custom after Bob Jessee put in these new ostrich leather sweatbands. He did phenomenal work! Thanks Bob! I’m really excited to get these back into regular rotation.

Wow, that looks great and very unusual. How does the ostrich feel on your head? I couldn't help but wonder if you can see the texture in your skin after wearing it for a while. Maybe it lets some air move and keeps the sweatband a little cooler. My akubra country club sweatband is pretty warm and sweaty in the heat.

I picked up both of these for 100 bucks at the outlet store yesterday. I added the string hatbands, feather and distressing. I like the distressed look and this is my first attempt.

A little ironing and shaping and it will be ready to go.
