this thing is child size ... not even a 7

pissed ... this chick is trying to charge me a 20% "restocking" fee... I'm fighting it to the end

here is the deal ... the tag say 1/4 and there is a loose factory red size tag ... not attached to the hat mind you that says 7 1/4
anyone could have stuck that in there.

I'm not a moron ... this thing sits on the top of my head like a yamaka

there is no chance in hell that it started life as a 7 1/4 ... she is trying to strong arm me

What is the length and width of the crown opening?

A pretty good rule if thumb is:
(Length + Width)/2 = size

- both length and width in Inches

looks like about 7 1/8 X 6 1/4

Sounds to me like a 6-5/8 - a little wider than "regular oval".

Could both tags belong to another hat?

I was thinking the same thing because the red size tag under the brim is loose ... just completely sitting loose behind the sweat
... and I don't want to mess with the sweat too much to look at how the keyhole size tag is attached because I don't want to damage anything so she has more to complain about

The item is clearly not as described. I wouldn't accept a penny less than what you paid + shipping costs. That really stinks. Sorry you are having such problems.

Beautiful hat ... Very nice green ...but unfortunately it is the size of a child's hat.
I mean tiny... I think 1/4 means 6 1/4

No label behind the sweatband? I find this a little weird!

Mine is labeled as a size 7, but the true size is almost one full size smaller!
- In my case the seller knew about hats and sizes so I was warned.

I've mentioned above ... it is there but loose ... just sitting behind the sweat ... it reads 7 1/4
