moontheloon,

Just a note on the Stratoliner. It is actually earlier than 1959. A gentleman who worked on hats in his youth told me that that particular tag was used after a clean and block. They would also write certain numbers in to remind them of a customer's preferences. He dated the hat to no later than 1955. Thought you might want to know.

Ok! It is very similar to some I got made by myself with the studio helpers on canvas using the "Pollock" way.
We used them for some foods and wines commercial pictures.
They were good also for portraits...

No problem! Really glad you liked them. That Whippet...stunner.

that whippet is the game changer for me.... it is the crown jewel of my collection

I have to constantly fight the urge to wear it everyday ... it just fits my head like a glove and is so gorgeous

it is one of the pieces in my collection that will be so proudly passed down to my daughter one day

Beautiful! Now, I'd like to have the Racine! After seeing it 'live', I am impressed!

Just received my third custom made Fedora from Timothy Bender. Blue Steel, beaver fur. Offset brim (3" front and back, 2-1/2" on the sides). Crown is 4-5/8" in front wth a nice tight pinch. 5" on the back. Lining is a beautiful scarlet red silk.
