Thanks for adding the tag... and congratulations on the lovely find.
Just received my third custom made Fedora from Timothy Bender. Blue Steel, beaver fur. Offset brim (3" front and back, 2-1/2" on the sides). Crown is 4-5/8" in front wth a nice tight pinch. 5" on the back. Lining is a beautiful scarlet red silk.

Very nice.
Now for my dreaded stock hat question that nearly no fedora loungers seem to be able (or willing?) to answer - What does this hat weigh?
Daniele, Great find with the Borsalino fu Lazzaro & C. "Zenit". Yes amazing condition for a 1930s hat. Looking forward to seeing more details. Also fantastic Barbisio Classic!
This is a beautful hat . . . And it looks good on you . . .
I can't help but thinking, if you reporduced this one in Black, it would be the perfect hat for the Shadow.
Brian I like the Bender creations you posted.
They are minimal classic, all with a strong character.
This is a beautiful hat !!! Congrats
That is just how I think the Great Jules Verne looked !!Thank you. Bender is well known amongst people who do living history programs for being an exceptional maker of mid 19th century, American style hats. In the last two years, he has also been making Fedoras.
Pictured below, is me, in one of his Bell Crown Toppers of the style popular in the 1850's.
