Well, this one was *briefly* a new hat, but upon receipt I found that it was just a bit too small. The seller graciously offered to trade for a slightly larger hat by a different maker. Even with the trade I got a good deal.

This has been the only Borsalino I've managed to hold, and I now understand why they command such a premium. The felt was absolutely fantastic. One day I can hope to score a nice one that fits.

Thank you. Even, that's my favorite hat. I bought it, because I like the friendly, warm hazelnut-colour and the decent, more elegant style very much. I'm not a fan of the "heavier" Indy-Adventure-Style-Fedora.

It's waterproof/impregnated, too!

Verrry Nice, Mark! Can't you give that beauty a little nudge with a hat jack? My experience with every Borsa I've handled is that they run a bit scant on the sizing.

Today, I converted another hat. I converted a crushable Minnetonka hat similar to this one, but brown. I cut the brim down to 1 3/4". I also curled the brim in cold water. I also reshaped the crown, and changed the ribbon. I wish there was a way to harden crushable hats.

I received this hat today. It was almost a complete surprise, as I had a few days notice that it had been made and then shipped.

Mike Moore from Buckaroo Hatters is an incredible human being, and his business practices are exemplary.

Many months ago I began conversations with him about a custom western derby, and then I didn't follow up because my situation changed.

Mike recently found my order ticket, insisted he was at fault (he most certainly was not!) for keeping me waiting, and before I could say whiskey he had already made and shipped my hat!

What an incredible surprise! Mike is such a stand up guy with sincere and humble business practices, and I will most definitely continue to do business with him!

I have to admit .... I was not expecting all that much when I ordered this hat...
I was basically looking for a packable beater

but this hat in all honesty is much more than that ....

fur felt is very soft... the hat is very well made ... it is extremely comfortable ... and if I may say so it's quite a looker
