Justin, I admit to being a bit confused. I could swear that you joined the military! How is it, then, that you have the luxury of amassing a collection of fine vintage hats?

You are a Soldier of (Good) Fortune, perhaps? ;)

Early 50s Borsalino

Recent acquisition. I have a similar colored Borsalino but this one was more of the style I like with a higher crown and wider ribbon. I guess the OPS tag dates it to the early 50s. The hat is in pristine condition, never worn. Depending on the light the color shows more blue or green.

Fantastic find! I really like the color and form. Also finding one of this age in NOS condition is extremely rare.

I received these beauties on Saturday from the Hattery. I waited to post them until I shaped the Fed IV.

This is my fourth Fed and second Capricorn. Since it's still in the 70's I've only had a chance to wear the Capricorn. But this weekend is supposed to be in the 60's, so the Fed will be getting its chance then.

Wow, wow, WOW! Hard to keep up around here. I feel like a piker following your Borsalino, David. Nonetheless, my new find for the end of the season, a 1970-ish Stetson Milan. It has a 2-1/8" dimensional brim, 4" front and 3-3/4" rear crown height.

I take some comfort having this lid in anticipation of next spring/summer. Especially good feeling now, during these Ten Days of Awe!

Thank you for the kind words on the Stetson. It's my first Stetsonian, and I can't stop wearing it!

Richard, great OR!

David, that is one sweet hat!

Mc, they both look great!

Charlie, another winner of a find!

Honey, turned out Grand!
