Thanks folks - it's a tad snug, and the size on the label missing so I'm not sure whether it's a small 60 or not, but a hat stretcher makes it wearable. I don't have any Maysers to compare it with, but it's a nicely made hat with very decent felt.

Usually Mayser hats from this time period run a little big. In my opinion Mayser made a better hat than Stetson in this time period (smaller production runs with better detail work).

Lawler & Hunting Best Quality Velour

I've had this one for a while, just never posted it. I guess the maker is "Best Quality Velour"! I couldn't find any information on it. The hat has a 2 1/2" raw edge brim and a 5 3/4" open crown with 2" grosgrain ribbon and sharksgill bow and an unreeded leather sweatband.

Belgian Hat, the edge is felted welt but hasn't been finished for a crisp inner edge. Hope the pictures are showing now.
