I went back to the Hats-Plus site to look for a hat for a friend & noticed they still had Silverbelly in my size....Bang! Pulled that trigger.

Gotta tell you, I think I might have a problem. The hat is awesome, and I think I've seriously fallen down the rabbit hole.

Received my first lighter gray hat in the mail today. It is a big change after almost 40 years of black, almost black, and one dark brown. It is a Knox Tuscany, Saber Color with the tags intact and supposably never worn. It has Gimbels Mens Store on the sweat band and factory $20 price tag. I paid $35 for the hat and I also acquired a double Stetson hat box with all the inserts for $15.

My Habig Sport Ventilo arrived yesterday! That is a nice mix between a Fedora and a Tyrolian Hat.
This hat was made in the 50s and has Ventholes in the sweatband front area and felt stripes for air circulation.
Outside condition is like new, the sweatband looks like much worn. More photos in German and Austrian hats.

Sorry pics aren't great, I'm at work. Rick this is from Hat-plus.com. They still have some stock in mostly Silver Belly, Black and Fawn.
Looks like it's technically called the Wilderness, the stamp is from 2002---- old stock?

I was holding off on buying one of these until I saw some of the other colors. I haven't seen a Fawn one on the lounge yet, but it looks like my options in size 7 are running out. I was thinking of buying the Fawn size 7 that's listed on the Hats-Plus website. Does anybody have an example of Biltmore's fawn?
