An old Borsalino, size 7 1/8. Interesting brim edge treatment and looks like there was once some kind of a badge glued to the 'bow'.

Anyone want to venture a guess as to the age?

Here is my new Fed IV Deluxe. I like the color, although it is a little darker than I thought it would be. I really could use some feedback on the bash job. First time I have tried it! I want a tear drop look with a center dome kind of like this one:

but I can not seem to get the center dome to come up. Anyway, here is what I have so far.

Any feedback would be great!

Looks good so far. Get a dome started then set the hat on a lamp without the shade on it so the hat sets on the light bulb.

Oh yeah, be sure to use distilled (or at least filtered) water. When you push the hat down on your head you can work the upper/outside edges of the crown with your fingers. Do this while looking in a mirror.

Three new hats...

...sort of. :p I only got the chance to post them now, even though I've had them for about a month. So:

Cervo. Weird sort of color, sometimes grey, sometimes green.

Then a black Magill Robert Hall, fresh back from ribbon replacement.

And, finally, my first ever cap. It's a Dobbs.

Cheers!

Cervo

Welcome to the Lounge tealseal. Could you post an inside shot of the Cervo?

Thanks for the welcome, Aureliano. Here are cell-phone shots of the inside of the Cervo. The wrinkles on the sweat are a result of the hat not being completely worn in yet, combined with me haphazardly removing the aftermarket lining.

As it came:

With the liner I had put in to avoid brylcreem contamination of the felt:
