Disagree. It's rather a cool shot, Jeff. You look bad a$$!

Thanks, Ale! :)
I feel like my 34 year old eyes are starting to look and feel waaaay older than that!

David-- thanks for the comment. I like your new straw too! It will fit right in on the golf course, or in the cabana. Warmer months coming soon, I hope! ;)

guilty as charged, although my first few soakings/steamings were actually intended for crease-changing, not with the purpose of softening the felt. The softening and shrinkage was more a byproduct, I think.

I just posted this in the Ebay thread-- new to me Resistol with 1 7/8" Cav edged brim.

color comparison, with my other "dark brown" fedoras. flash on worked better here in the cellar.

Played a gig at North Park Dallas in a very nice restaurant located in Nordstrom called Bistro N. I knew Nordstrom carries Goorin Bros. hats so when I was on break I took a stroll and came back for the third set with this:

Trick-Color Canadian
Received my "new" Biltmore from a fellow-lounger today and was surprised when I opened the box. From the ePrey listing, I expected a "sandstone" or pinkish beige hat--of which I have only one. Instead, it was taupe with a touch of olive to my eye. Then, I took a snapshot of it, indoors, and presto, it's back on that putty side of the aisle again. Can't wait to get it outdoors and see what my Olympus does with it.

None of this is to say that I don't like it; it is just that I have about 6 taupe/tan hats, and probably wouldn't have rushed into another had my eyes not been playing a trick on me. My calibrated monitor is above this stuff! Anyway, here it is in its Canadian beaver splendor.
