Not the high quality lid we often see on here, but a new (to me) Akubra Capricorn, courtesy of casechopper. My Aussie shepard, Bindi, and I took a break while working on the pool. More hats coming, pics when they arrive.

Are you saying I have a big head, casechopper? LOL It was big, but I anticipated it would be and lined the sweat with felt. Feels just peachy now.

Can you tell us a little about them buler?

Jeff

Sure,

front left is a Stetson 3x beaver open road

right of that is a Brock thats been posted before, it snuck into the picture my place is still a mess

3rd on right is a Lee All American, interesting hat, very short sweatband

center table is a Sears Towncraft, and most post might turn up their nose at the brand but its actually a really nice hat with a great hand to
the felt

Dark hat back of center is a nice old Mallory that was waiting in the mail for me while I was gone

the Milan on the box is a Dobbs and has a great ribbon

on the wormser box is a Stetson 3x open road

also some blocks and a flange that I found and a nice Elgin wristwatch I couldn't pass up.

I saw and felt that hat in person. It REALLY is a WORK OF ART. The felt is perfectly smooth and shapes like clay. Its truly a gorgeous hat. CONGRATS, Bill!!

I just discovered these two fedoras in my moms garage, they were my grandfathers who passed away almost fifteen years ago. I was wondering if anyone could help me with the year and style of the hats. They seem to be in amazing condition almost never worn, which makes sense because he was a very meticulous man. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the link to a few pics, (sorry for the few upside down pics, I will work on that).http://img858.imageshack.us/g/cavbox.jpg/

Alan: The Anton Pesche is a nice hat. I'll bet the velvet feel will bring you back to that hat more than once.
