Hey folks, I'm new to this hat business - How'd I do?

The crown looks a little low for the shape of your face but that could be the camera angle. What are the specs of your new lid? [huh]

Picked it up at a local resale shop for $10. It's a Stacy Adams and it still had tags on it. A few wrinkles here and there but a bit of steam dealt with them. Brim is 2 1/2" front & 2 1/4" sides. Crown is 4" in front. It's a lower end hat as it isn't sized but is a comfortable-snug medium on me.

At the same time I also picked up a virtually untouched Homburg style in a camel brown with edged brim for $20, but will probably try to pass it along as the color and style just don't suit me.

I'm just getting used to wearing a hat for now but am enjoying it when I forget to be self conscious about it. Already scheming to upgrade... stay tuned...

Gene, that hat is fabulous, I agree with these guys, crease is perfect for that hat. I'm not sure I've ever seen a Western style Cav before.
