The film looks good on you, Jason. You're right about the taper, though. I've handled both colors at the Bencraft shop. I have to tell you, a little taper isn't such a bad thing, is it? I Think it adds variety. You can always shape it with a diamond crease to diminish it.

Thanks guys, the strat is marked a 1/4. It doesn't appear to have been worn much if at all. I was going to steam it and give it a little shaping. Have worn it about 15 minutes and just felt tight after that time, but I think that it might loosen up a little if I wear it in short intervals.
I bought this one unadvertised as just being a Stetson in a box.
What a suprize to find out that it was a strat in mint cond. too!

What a nice surprise! Looks great. I hope you can get it to fit.

New Akubra Camp Draft

Taupe Fawn. Got it today (less than a week from Hats Direct) - I was expecting a nice hat, but it exceeded my expectations. The color is a little darker that I thought it would be, but it is still a great color. Below are the very poor camera phone pictures of my first bash attempt (of any hat - my first open crown).
