A single-bid, $10 vintage Donegal tweed newsboy cap from eBay. Mislabeled as 1960s; my guesstimate is 1930s at the latest. http://www.ebay.com/itm/250966780599

Echter Borsalino, size 5 1/2, probably pre WWII. It has a couple of moth nibbles on the bottom of brim but not noticeable when wearing. It's rare to find a older Echter Borsalino.

Thanks! This one was easy to miss because the auction photos were poor. They only showed a crumpled side view and and part of the sweatband bow + size tag (see auction photo below). I knew from the sweatband bow it was an older one. It was around $40.00 including shipping (to Manfred to Me).

I can't resist an Open Road 25

Just received another OR 25 picked off of the bay. The seller said this hat belonged to a family member who received it as a gift...did not like it and never wore it. Other than a little lumpy from improper storage and shipping this is a great hat. The ribbon, binding and hat overall are clean but the hat is stiff as a board. Can anyone help with the date of this lid. I forgot to take a pic of the paper tag inside. It has the lot # 73 and price of $25.00. I will post pictures after I put some work into it.
