Well yesterday I bought my first hat! This weekend reminded me how hot that sun could be and I decided to get a Bailey Straw hat for the summer as I spend many days in the park with my daughter and at the ballpark for an afternoon game. The wife picked it out after I tried on several so that is good sign #1. I will try and snap a picture later but here is a picture from their site:

Got measured up and had an overall great experience, will visit Bencraft Hats again for future purchases.

My Dad almost 90 years old (thanks Lord, He is working yet), Itzel and Yohali, wearing a Wool Medina Hat,
My inseparable Yohali and me. with thread cotton hat.
:) :) :)

I think it is very nice that you and your father both wear hats. Did you learn to appreciate a good hat from your father? Also, do any of the women in your family wear hats?

Borsalino Hat, 100% Beaver

I have owned this hat for a couple of months now but have not displayed it on this discussion group (I think). Here it is. Borsalino, 100% Beaver, 2 1/2 inch brim, brown. It fits so very comfortably.

Thanks DRB

Hi, Mr. DRB, greetings¡¡¡¡¡ yes, when I was a little boy,I saw my grandfather and my father wearing hat, furthermore, in T.V. shows and movies many artists were working with hats, I remembered Robert Stack in The Untouchables, always have believed wich I can use hats and better when sometimes I fix mine in own style, my little daughter use it only in winter.

Agressively flanged upward so can't snap. Fairly thin and soft felt. Wide binding equal on top and bottom(10 ligne total)of 2-3/4" brim and 22 ligne ribbon around crown. Marked under sweatband as 7-1/2 but a normal 7-1/4 in reality[huh]
