Fresh in from Panamahatmall.
The ribbon is kinda loose and I've no experience setting them, but I think it will be fine.
I threw an aged gold feather from the charms section of hobby lobby on it to round out the color combination of the company I work for, so I'll be taking it on its first adventure in the morning as I wear a hat to work for the first time in 8 or so years.

I like the gold feather. Nice looking straw.

Liner reads: XXX Quality Chase & Co. California. Sweatband reads Volk Hats. It’s a size 7 1/8 and the open crown is just under 5 1/2 inches (best as I can measure). The sweat is showing signs of incipient separation.
It’s not my size so it’s up for sale or trade. Shoot me a PM if you’re interested.

Three exciting hats Brent. Pity they are not in your size, but this will keep them in circulation. The Homburg is sweet. Love that store logo!!! You are an enabler, I am pretty weak right now. Help me....

L. B. Hats "Prima Original", Wool, possibly late 1930s early 1940s. The paper label is missing and there are no company marks. The hat came from a Czech source so I am fairly certain the maker was from Czechoslovakia regardless of the English names. The Wool Felt easily dry creases and has a very nice finish. The Crown is just over 6 inches Open but not sure that comes across in the photos. I really enjoy finding these old European Wool Soft and Stiff Felt Hats. I think this one is fantastic.

It’s still blows my mind that they were able to make such fine hats from wool. Definitely a lost art.

Brent, Thanks! There is some roughness in the hand but visually it looks great. I enjoy Wool hats like this one because they weren't super high end but still look fantastic. I will take photos wearing it.

I am pretty sure I'd forgotten to post this one here.
Willoughby Tuxedo hat. Interesting paper label on the back of the box.
I had to have it reshaped by Ignacio.
Can someone tell me something about it?
The felt and the finishes are very luxurious.

Max, I've just found a Willoughby Hats thread on the FL. Search it. Informative, but sadly leaves more questions unanswered than the opposite.

I'm actually lining up a position with another company due to there not being the possibility of a promotion for at least 4 years. And even then it would require the current program manager to retire for me to be able to take his spot.

I just think the colors are cool.

That's a killer piece, Max. Very interesting hat and with the box as well. Nice! There's another Willoughby hat on auction on Ebay France (been there for ages). Maybe I need to look into that one a bit more.
