That is really exquisite, Steve! Great colour, beautiful felt, outstanding ribbon and the basting stitches are still in!Echt Velour "Quality Velour Seal", 57cm, probably mid to late 1930s. Not sure what company made it but it came with another Velour from Friedrich Steinberg Hermann & Co. (STECO) Hat Factory Luckenwalde (East Germany) so they might be the source. The "Quality Velour Seal" felt color is a fantastic + unique Tobacco (Tabak) color with a great finish and hand. Also a interesting bow design and two tone liner.
Open Crown
Nice one. Good colour and fine shape!Stetson Promotional (no name non-catalogued) Royal DeLuxe open crown in Caribou. The felt is soft and exactly the same as my Premier Royal DeLuxe Stratoliners. Not sure if I'll keep the leather hat band or replace it with a grosgrain ribbon. The brown leather sweat is plain without so much as a crest. There also isn't anything under the sweat. This was a new in the box hat bought on eBay. No regrets so far. The box stated the brim is 3" but it's actually between 2 1/2 and 2 5/8.
The first wear after I popped a diamond crease into it last night.

Nice ribbon work both the crown and brim.Well, when I was out and about last week I bought this custom lid Churchill hat box.....inside was this nice litte, and I do mean little (6 3/4) LaSalle Hats, hat that intrigued my wife.......she MAY actually wear it!!
Cannot find out much about them, though looking at the "Kasmir Finish" and "Felted by Master Craftsmen" shows it either morphed into Champ Hats or was owned by or owned Champ Hats....
Hat has the remnants of the wind cord ................

Borsalino Renna. Qualità Speciale. Size 7 or 7 5/8 in US
Color "Ninfea" with matching ribbon in the same felt width 2 cm. with a particular bow
This hat is another "Cocisca" like its yesterday's brother is a little bit less massive than the yesterday one
The brim, oversewn are 6 cm. and the low point crown is 10.5 centimeters
Made probably in the 1950s for Carlo Lambardi - Roma hats shop, now closed
It is with classic lining in white and yellow, very well finished
Classic Borsalino golden sweatband stamps classified the hats as "Qualità Speciale"
Felt is soft and very malleable with a rare color "Ninfea"
This green/beige Borsalino "Ninfea" is too wide for my head, so if you have the right size to wear it let me know with a PM

Picked this Stetson No. 1 Quality off Ebay last week. This hat reminded me of Bamaboots No. 1 that I admired so I had to pull the trigger.
