Janyška "Parla", 58cm, NOS, Crown Open 5 1/2 inches, Brim 2 inches, probably late 1930s to late 1940s. The felt is high quality and easily dry creases. Also very nice form for the this style hat. This hat is from my May 2016 Czech find and the final one (20 total) in the series!

Hey!
Got this yesterday. Royal Panizza of modern manufacture It was in my watch list for a few months, decided to take a chance for 20 dollars and change. Listed as a wool felt, but if I had a dollar for every fur felt I have seen called wool on the interwebs I could buy a hat from timothie at full price.Took 5 days (and 2 dollars more than the hat cost) to get here to CA from The Netherlands. Pretty darn fast. Needed a little steam and reshaping, but it is in great condition.
It has the same dimensions as an OR.It is very nice felt, 108g total weight., about the same as my OR body without sweatband or liner. A nice manly shade of green, trimmed similar to an OR but with a simple, plain bow.
Maybe I'll call it The Roman Road....

Just a thrift store Filson. I'm sure it will fill a niche.

Excuse the fuzzy pic. It's accurate to how I feel.

I would LOVE to find a hat like that! As we always are treating our hats with such gentle care, a hat like that would be great as a wear all the time hat without fear of it getting ruined from bad weather, heat, etc. I will have to check on the "bay" and see if I can find one or two!

I like that color of green. Nice and bright color, not a faded color at all!

Yes indeed...we have been waiting for a while but wow very much worth it! Custom made by our own Esther. Has a purple liner to match the ribbon and is just exactly what we wanted! Daniel already had a name for this one, "Daniel's Esther"! You have to admit, Esther is such a sweet soul, and the end result of working with her on making this hat, proves she knows her stuff! Thank you Esther.

They are made by Falcus now.

Panizza Ghiffa made fantastic felt + hats until the factory closed in 1981.

I love that -- Esther is such a talent. Purple is my favorite color, but not something I could normally wear -- I'm even watching this one (although I don't know why).

I think I could pull off a ribbon on a hat like that though. Daniel is a lucky man.

As promised, I am seriously "jazzed" upon receiving this hat - A gray on gray Stephen L. Stetson....! ! Let me know your thoughts !?!?!?

Stephen L. Stetson – Fedora - Light mouse gray color with matching hat band/ribbon with side bow and matching trolley and edging around the brim. No size tag and no label with ticket # has in the liner/sweat band. Sweat band is thin brown slightly “textured” leather – On sweat band in embossed gold lettering is Valley Dept. Store – Ontario, Calif. On other side of sweat band is “Custom Fitted” above an insignia of two beavers on opposite sides of a tree stump – below this insignia are the words” FAMOUS TEN”. Inside hat has off white silk liner with Company crest enclosed in clear plastic, below are the worlds in red

Type: Fedora
Mfg: Stephen L. Stetson
Model: Famous Ten
Serial #:
Ticket # :
Material: fur felt
Color: Light mouse gray
Size: 7 1/8 (suspected)
Length of Crown: 7 ¾ inches
Width of Crown: 6 ½ inches
Height of Crown: 5 inches
Brim: 2 ¾ inches
Type of band: ribbon
Width of band: 1 inch

That is indeed a beauty.

Very nice! I like the sharp flange, mid ribbon with dipped bow and the bound brim edge - elegant shapes. When I first saw it this morning on my phone, the ribbon appeared black. It would suit me better that way, but Daniel has a lot of style and I'm sure he will coordinate these colors beautifully. Wish him the best from me.
