Vintage Stockman "Cross Plains" 3X Western

Here is my "new" to me 1960s vintage western in "sorrel" [brown ]. It's not marked, but the hat was clearly made by Resistol under the "Stockman" brand - appears to be unworn, but was covered in dust. It was too dusty for me to clean, so it made a trip to Paris Hatters for a cleaning & I'm picking it up later today.

Came in a couple of days ago, a Fabroc Zenith, which I guess is a takeoff of the Fahey-Brockman department store which, if I understand correctly, was a chain operating in the NW from the late 19th century until the mid ?'s. The felt is very dense; yet thin, soft and pliable. I can't even begin to describe the color. The lining is in good shape but a bit dirty and the sweat will need replacing before long.

Jazzy little Lee longhair pork-pie. I dig that crazy band, looks like it should be covering the speaker on a vintage hi-fi. This hat totally makes me want to drink coffee and listen to Thelonious Monk.
