Seeing all these great new hats is like going to the hospital to see a friend's new baby. Oh to see it in pristine condition before life's harsh elements give it it's character. And ohhhh, the new hat smell.

I have not considered the silverbelly Campdraft since I have silverbelly Open Road and Stetson Royal Deluxe. But that feels like a very different hat. Do they all come with the contrasting ribbon? I love the look.
This is very unique beautiful light light light tan... I have a couple of other Silverbellys but everyone has his own character....

I am looking for a Silverbelly Stagecoach, one just got away in the bay, my fault...

Go get yourself one, I am sure you deserve it Sir !! [emoji6] [emoji6]

Custom Milan Hemp. They are on sale only to Fellow Loungers for $100. If interested call them. Their website is "unfriendly." Shane at Peter Bros made this custom from start to finish.

these days for me it's the higher the better ... those dimensions sound fantastic

I have not straightened the trolley issue out yet ... I plan on getting a whole new one just don't know where to get one short of taking a ride to one of the hat stores .... which I rarely have time for.

I may email DelMonico with some pics and see what they have to offer ... or maybe call JJ

Janyška, size 59cm but measures 60cm, WWII era. Very nice felt and finish. This hat company was located in Moravia near Nový Jičín / Neutitschein (JHS, Peschel, BB) . The founding owner was Czech and not German or Austrian like most of the other companies that were located in what is now the Czech Republic. I didn't crease this hat because the label would probably not survive. This is the first Janyška I have encountered.

Thanks! I have a lot more to post.

serious questions

where do you keep all these ?

and how do you store them ?

do they have their own room in the house

just unbelievably superb hats ... I honestly can't even find a word that describes how amazing of a haul this recent one is

I have a lot of hats so this haul is a bit of an issue. I keep most of my better vintage hats in one room and they are mostly in modern hat boxes. I also have hats that are more modern (mostly 1960 - 1970s German and Austrian NOS hats) that I sell on the side and keep them in large hat boxes in my basement.
