Well I haven't won a nice lid on ebay in quite sometime so here is a vintage Stetson Medalist that I won a few days ago and it arrived today. They say that the weather is going to be in the 90s here in southern California this weekend, so I am ready!

Been lurking for a while here and finally have a reason to post.
I was recently given a barely worn black bowler made by Fernandez y Roche. It was purchased in the late 60's or early 70's in the Canary Islands. The leather sweatband is inscribed with "Fabricaciòn Especial De Sombreros De Fieltos Fernàndez y Roche Sevilla" on the left and "Juan Sanchez De La Coba 90 Triana Las Palmas" on the right and in the top of the crown. A tag has an undiscernible symbol and reads 57. Does anyone know what I have here? Any advice on how I can post a photo of it would be greatly appreciated!

Received my new Timothy Bender made Fedora. This one was commissioned for wear in warmer weather. It is made of 100% Rabbit felt, vice the heavier Beaver felts, and is lined with a light silk lining. The color is Silverbelly, and it is a perfect fit. And once again, less than than two weeks between when I described to him what I wanted, and it's delivery.

I'm pretty sure that's a Spanish-made hat (the same maker referenced in other posts here). For pic posting purposes, you'd be well served to sign up for one of the free picture hosting sites (photbucket, etc.), then using the supplied forum message board links that these type of sites provide.

Ok guys, I finally have my first decent fedora that's worth showing off to you guys! Went for a shopping day in New Orleans, and stopped in to see Meyer the Hatter, and caught this lovely baby on clearance. It's a little on the small side, but they stretched it for me some there in the shop, and I'm hoping it will stretch a little more over time. Anyway, this is my first time trying to post pics here, so I hope it works..

It's a royal stetson with a 2" brim. Supposedly 100% rabbit felt, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell one way or the other. [huh]

That's weird..it posted the links to my photobucket account. How do I get the photos to actually post on the forum? I followed the guide on the faq, but all it posted were the links. Any suggestions?

Matt; Congrats sir. The panama looks great. I love the straw color and weave. I bet it will get tons of wear with pride. Pride as you are a backer of such a worthy project. I tip my brim to your choices tonight.
