I'm a member of London Lounge, Ask Andy, Style Forum, Fedora Lounge, and COW (That's just clothing related). There are great knowlegeable members (Manton,Label King AlanC Sysdoc Aportony RJman). Then there are snarky stuck up members (the first that come to mind is Alex Kabazz) he's a real snob just because he makes expensive shirts he can put anyone down SOB

Expensive doesn't make a shirt quality, nor does money make a man of substance.

Snobbery and eliteism are two things I detest. I mean that!

I can fool a bit when I want and I don't come from a poor background, though when I see those who subjegate others because of their sense of style I take offense. We all want to look good and be happy and, well... The snob who locks out those who they think don't fit in hurts us all.

I suspect that LL isn't the place to sell goods. The fact that they have no area in which to do so is telling. They should have contacted Paddy, however, before removing his access.

A lot of the criticism in this thread, i must say, is overstepping the mark. The London Lounge is patronised by people interested in the bespoke menswear experience and, more importantly, by the people who make the clothes! Their advice, though put forward in a way that might be considered condescending (i feel it's more of a internet problem ... Lord knows, we've had the same problem here ... when ye can't see the face of the typer, you don't get what they mean, and misconstrue things), is second-to-none and is often invaluable for learning the process, and about how your clothes are made.

I've never considered them snobbish. Possibly not too good at putting their point across on the boards in a congenial manner, but incredibly knowledgeable and forthcoming with advice. There is bad advice put forth as definitive, but this is usually checked by someone more knowledgeable.

Some of their feature articles have been fantastic.

They appear to have no problems with colonials. There was a long discussion about tailors in New York, i believe. There are many American regular posters.

I would consider BK's assessment to be accurate.
