I've been wet shaping a lot of brims into the "Professional Men," lately. Not only does it look good that way, but you can still snap it down into the "Business Men." It's a simple way to get two good looks out of one hat. :)

Any pictures J.T?

Vic, your hats are incredible. They're always pristine examples of a given model. :eusa_clap

That's a beauty. Any idea if the ribbon's original? I don't think I've seen a stetson with the ribbon stitching done quite like that before.

They don't get much cleaner than that, do they? Either in condition or design.

I do not see anything that would make me think that the hat was ever altered or even worn very much. Thanks Victor

Victor -- Just out of curiousity, what is the width of the ribbon on your lid? Almost seems like the ribbon treatment is more reminiscent of a Whippet than most of the Playboys I have ever seen. May be that the Playboy came down through the years with some differences in the ribbons. Very interesting.

Cheers,
JtL

Here's an early/mid-50's Playboy. The price tag is still intact -- $10. The black logo imprint is something that, so far, I have pegged to around 1954 (but this is still one of those things I'm trying to get to the bottom of). In any event, here's the lid (same one as in my avatar):

Nice looking hats! Gentlemen, The more I stay on this site, the more I want a "nice" hat, instead of the modern one I have...you're swaying me to your style.
